Wedding Time & Date
A couple of people have called asking about the details of our wedding, so I thought I’d post them once again here to make them easier to find. We’re getting married this coming Saturday, October 24 at Hope Chapel at 4:00pm. Hope is located at 6701 Arroyo Seco, Austin, Texas, 78757. We hope to see you there!
We Have A Date!
Its taken almost two weeks of phone calls and visiting locations, but we finally have OUR church and a great spot reserved for the ceremony and reception. We’ll get married on Saturday, October 24 at Hope Chapel, with the reception immediately following at the Austin American Legion. We’re hoping for great weather so that the reception can be held outside. The other details are pending (like time of day), but we have a date! I’m SO excited!
No Clear Date Yet
We’re in the process of trying to book a venue within our date range. We aren’t planning the event a year out, so many of the places we would consider are already booked. Our wedding will be right in the middle of football season, and college football is a big deal in Austin, so we’re trying to account for that as well. We’re also learning first hand how much a wedding costs, and want to be budget conscious. At the moment it looks like we’ve found an available time at our church (our first choice spot), but that hasn’t been confirmed yet. We’re hoping to find out this week. Stay tuned…
